Two things came to an end this week. Firstly the Write-On which I certainly found valuable and I'm sure everyone else did too. It was a privilege to work with writers who were so enthusiastic and hard working. Secondly, I taught my last class for the College. I resigned before Christmas and am now free to organise classes and workshops just as I like. Phew! That makes me happy, although I did feel sad when I read the lovely remarks my students (sorry, learners) had written. When I first began to work freelance it was because there wasn't any provision for the writer between signing on for a termly evening class and applying for a purse-busting MA. CreativeWritingMatters filled that gap very quickly. In fact, it was all a bit too much for one person! And writing is a big subject, there's lots to know. Lucky me, that I knew Margaret James and Sophie Duffy. Between us, we can help with the amazing journey from the twinkling idea to publication or competition competition success. If ever you find yourself talking about writing, it would be great if you would mention CreativeWritingMatters. Recommendation is the best form of advertising!
