I liked this photo because it looks so far into the distance, it's almost possible to believe the world is flat. Imagine that - if it really was. In fact, it's North Norfolk on a beautiful evening and if you click on the pic, it will enlarge. I found the place inspiring, although I didn't know it at the time. That's the odd thing about inspiration, it can knock you down or creep up slowly, it can be like brick built like a wall or fashioned, assembled, sewn together in all manner of different ways. With luck and a sharp eye you can make a good story. Congratulations to the winners of the flash competition. They were all excellent. Read them HERE. Good luck to those entering the Exeter Novel Prize too, we are looking forward to reading them. Would you like to know more about writing successful stories and have a go at writing your own? If you'd enjoy listening to others and sharing yours in an informal and encouraging atmosphere, then do book on the course I'm running beginning next month. Go HERE. Please book early. If you leave it late, then the chances are, it will be full.
