Here at HQ we're coming to the end of the first round of reading for the Exeter Novel Prize and are soon going to have make some tough choices. The long list will be posted on this site on the 1st Jan and I'll announce on Facebook and Twitter when it's live.
We are busy organising the writer events and award ceremony for March 28th
It's been an amazing year. Thank you to everyone who has entered our competitions. Thank you to my lovely Friday Writers and Sophie says thank you to her Teignmouth Life Writers. Margaret and I are still thrilled that our text book has proved so popular. You have no idea how thrilling one of those little yellow #No1bestseller flags are they have at Amazon.
Next year is already shaping up to be even more amazing. Entries are coming in for the Exeter Story Prize and Trisha Ashley is looking forward to reading the humorous entries. We hope there will be lots for her to choose from.
If you're stuck for a last minute Christmas present for someone with a writerly nature, think of us. My short story course is a present for someone already. I hope they like it!
